Mike started with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network as a college intern and quickly decided that this was the career for him. He immediately realized how much he valued and enjoyed the opportunity to positively impact lives. Mike was awarded "New Representative of the Year" his first year with Northwestern Mutual and he achieved Million Dollar Round Table that year and every year since. Mike took his practice to the next level in 2004 by mentoring new Financial Representatives in the role of Field Director. He helped many new representatives jump start their careers with his insight and leadership. In April of 2006 Mike opened the West Denver district office, along with his long time friend, Bear Creek Alumnus, and fellow Financial Representative, Bryan Austin. Mike and Bryan co-manage the office of 24 financial representatives.
